    Sarah debuts son Kai's Instagram with an adorable photo. She also shares tips for inducing labor that worked for her.

  • The last time mom-of-two Sarah Lahbati shared photos of her second son, Kai, he was a tiny newborn. Now, look how big he has grown!

    "Hello, guapito," Sarah wrote as caption for her second son's close-up. It's also the very first photo on Kai's official Instagram account, which debuted as he turned two months old yesterday. Kai, who was born via spontaneous delivery on March 21, looked like he had his first professional photo shoot yesterday, based on his and his mom's Instagram Stories.

    In a new blog post, Sarah shared her tips on inducing labor which worked for her. She gave birth just as she completed 37 weeks of pregnancy, which is already considered full-term. 

    Her tips include doing moderate exercise. Squats, according to Sarah's research, can help open the pelvis by 28 percent. She also did a lot of walking and carefully going up and down the stairs. Sarah also mentioned swimming or sitting in a warm bath as activities that helped induce labor for her.

    Exercising with a birthing ball also helped. "Bouncing on a birthing ball when you are in the early stages of labor also helps with bringing your baby into a better position to prepare them for the birth," she wrote. 

    Sarah shared that pineapple and spicy food also play factor in inducing labor, although doctors have never found any scientific basis for these. It may or may not work for some moms, but there's no harm in trying. "Don’t be too quick to dismiss them as old wives’ tales!" Sarah wrote.
